On May 6th, I'll be running in a 5k race here in DeKalb, put on by Caps 4 Sam called the Race 4 Research. The proceeds from the race goes to raise funds for Brain Cancer research.
You can also sponsor a runner in the race. If you follow this link, http://www.caps4sam.com/pledgepayment.asp , put in my name of Lindsay Barron, you can then pledge any amount with a credit card (Paypal optional).
I don't get any special awards if I get the most money pledged so I'm not in it for myself but only in it to raise money for brain cancer research!
