Tonight, I decided to try out the circuit of my first race on Saturday. Rob was nice enough to accompany me on his bike. It's funny though, I was just locking my door when my phone rings and it's the great Daily Chronicle. I had to go in to fix a problem. Yay! /sarcasm. I walked in there and immediately said "Do not say a single word about my outfit." and I just got this odd look instead. It's my race outfit but I wore it tonight anyway just cause I was running outside. And I did find someone that will french braid my hair. Now for the end of May, I gotta find someone to do it in Southern Illinois. On the circuit, I ran across David Snow. I met him in 2006 at someone's birthday party. We were talking running for a bit so while running we were catching up a bit. Man, I want his thighs. But anyway, from my rough, very rough, calculations I ran it in 27 minutes. That's one minute better than my first race last year in September. Tomorrow is pizza night! Carbs Carbs Carbs! They are my friends!
Oh and I have a race every weekend from this weekend to the second weekend in June. The only one I don't have one on is Mother's Day and I suppose I could find one on that one but I won't. April 21, April 29, May 6, May 19, May 28, June 3, June 9. MAN, that's gonna cost me a pretty penny!
Saturday is going to be a busy day. I got my race at 8am. Then I gotta take some old electronics and take them to the DeKalb County Health Department Electronics Collection that they are having on Saturday. Then after that heading home to shower and head on down to Bloomington. Jess and Kevin are having me down so that we can head to the Peoria Jaycees Beer Fest! For 50c it'll get ya 4 oz. taster of any beer. I'm sooo looking forward to this! Then Old Chicago afterwards for more beer and food.
